Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant ConvenientCare $10K incentive

Location: Geisinger ConvenientCare, Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania. Job Summary Geisinger ConvenientCare urgent care is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our urgent care team. Responsibilities Diagnose and treat common medical problems such as sore throats, earaches, sinus infections, flu, urinary tract infections and more. Perform routine health exams, immunizations, screenings, and wellness services. Work autonomously with limited administrative burden. Collaborate with physicians as required. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to health information policies. Schedule / Hours Monday - Friday 8:45 am – 8:15 pm Saturday & Sunday 7:45 am – 6:15 pm 14 rotating shifts per month, work every other weekend. No overnight shifts, no mandated additional shifts; call approximately six nights per year (no direct patient call for critical lab, CT, etc.). Six observed holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day. Qualifications Minimum six months advanced practitioner experience in primary care, emergency medicine, urgent care, or critical care. Physician Assistant: completion of an ARC-PA (or predecessor organization) approved physician assistant program and current NCCPA certification or eligibility, plus Pennsylvania state licensure. Nurse Practitioner: master's degree in Nurse Practitioner (Required) and eligibility for licensure as a nurse practitioner in Pennsylvania. Must be eligible for licensure as a nurse practitioner in the state of PA. Basic Life Support Certification required. Benefits $10,000 recruitment incentive for new hires.
