Proactively scope technical solutions to meet customer requirements, assess customer needs and gaps, and recommend solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the Company. Secure input from all necessary customer stakeholders and adapt solutions as needed to ensure alignment and support. Coordinates closely with internal sales, sales support, and service resources to align solution design with customers’ business requirements. Obtain the necessary commitments from customer technical stakeholders to achieve technical approval and support for proposed solutions. Meets assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines, market areas, channels, or teams supported. Supports Account Executive's product growth targets for the assigned geography, channel, or account base. Opportunistically pursues additional business development opportunities within customer firms and collaborates with sales to ensure these opportunities are effectively covered and advanced. Monitors customer support for technical solutions proposed throughout the sales process and alerts the sales and account teams to potential risks of deal closure. Take ownership of assigned opportunities, ensuring consistent follow-through and timely progression toward close. Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards. Provides coaching and professional development to team member sales associates in order to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills. Requirements What We're Looking For 10+ years of IT project experience in enterprise networking and data center solutions OR 5+ years of manufacturer Pre‑Sales experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Organized with attention to detail and follow-through. Self‑motivated and proactive with assignments. Ability to work both independently and with a team. Focused on customer success. Process‑oriented, with comfort using systems to track and report on activities.
