Registered Nurse (RN) - Med

Role: Provides comprehensive nursing care in a correctional health setting, focusing on individual patient needs, adhering to approved standards and procedures. Responsibilities: Plans, delivers, documents, and evaluates nursing care; supervises assigned nursing staff; observes, assesses, and reports patient conditions; maintains accurate records reflecting treatment and responses; upholds organizational values and customer service standards. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program Current RN licensure in Ohio Basic Life Support certification (or obtained within 90 days) Knowledge of nursing theory, medical sciences, and asepsis Ability to use and care for nursing instruments and equipment Strong interpersonal skills and physical dexterity Preferred Skills: Bachelor's degree in Nursing, correctional health care experience, and specialty certifications such as CCN or CCHP.
