We assist companies, law firms, government agencies and fiduciaries with complex litigation, including litigation support services, consulting and expert testimony, and conducting investigations. Our expertise covers a broad spectrum of adversarial and non-adversarial situations and a range of industries. Our experienced team has the forensic, financial, and accounting skills to effectively communicate our findings in various in court and out of court settings.QualificationsAs a Commercial Disputes Advisory Senior Director, you will:Lead and supervise day-to-day activities associated with multiple high-stakes commercial litigation and disputes engagements, including forensic accounting, and expert testimony as well as fraud investigations and complianceWork closely with Managing Directors and Principals to identify and provide any needed project supportConduct forensic analysis of financial and accounting records, including tracing of funds, and examining transactions for discrepancies and/or anomaliesApply financial and accounting knowledge and data analytical skills to assess complex questions.High level of ability in receiving and analyzing complex and large data sets Conduct interviews of relevant parties as part of disputes and investigationsDevelop and implement work plans to assess complex questions of factsPrepare & present clear and concise reports, schedules, and demonstratives to be delivered to clients or other partiesServe as a trusted advisor to legal teams, corporate executives, and regulatory agenciesBuild and maintain strong client relationships and a broad professional network, leveraging both to originate revenueProvide expert testimony in litigation and regulatory matters as neededMentor and lead a high-performing team of disputes and forensic professionalsPrepare proposals for engagements and develop a network of professional relationships by attending events as appropriateRequired:At least 10 years of relevant consulting, disputes, investigations, forensic accounting, auditing or related professional experience, with demonstrated leadership in:Scoping and developing project work plans, strategies, and budgets to drive resultsManaging and executing multiple workstreams effectivelyDeveloping and implementing innovative solutions to complex problemsLeading and mentoring to develop staffBuilding strong client relationships and contributing to business developmentAt least 5 years of experience in disputes and investigations, with expertise in:Supporting litigation and investigations for companies, law firms, government agencies, and fiduciariesProviding litigation support services, consulting, and expert testimonyConducting financial and forensic investigationsEffectively communicating findings in both court and out-of-court settingsThe ideal candidate should also possess the following qualifications and skills:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.MBA, CPA, CFE, CFF, CFA, JD, CIRA, or similar professional credential preferred.Strong experience with database programs, Excel, Word and PowerPointAbove average business writing and communication skillsAbility to travel to client locations as needed (usually less than 20% travel time)Candidates may live anywhere in the contiguous USThe estimated base salary for this job is $250,000 - $325,000. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy.
