As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.WHAT YOU’LL DOLead cross-functional engineering teams (RF, hardware, and embedded software) in the design, development, and integration of high-performance Software Defined Radios (SDRs); direct DSP engineers in translating physical layer (PHY) communication algorithms into optimized software and FPGA/firmware implementations.Design and implement advanced wireless communication algorithms and signal processing techniques, including modulation/demodulation (e.g., QAM, OFDM), channel coding (LDPC, Polar), synchronization, equalization, and beamforming for next-generation air interfaces.Develop high-fidelity Modeling and Simulation (M&S) environments in MATLAB/C++ for wireless channel characterization, link-budget analysis, and end-to-end transceiver performance verification, leveraging Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) testing.Direct laboratory and over-the-air (OTA) field testing of RF communication systems, conducting real-world characterization of RF front-ends, antennas, propagation effects, and dynamic interference mitigation techniques.Drive the commercialization and maturation of RF systems from initial proof-of-concept prototype to deployable, production-ready wireless communication products and tactical data links.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS7+ years with a BSEE or related field Strong experience with DSP implementation for embedded devices and/or software defined radios.Strong knowledge of Python and MATLAB. Experience with CUDA or GPU accelerated frameworks like cuSignal is preferred.Experience with embedded devices, including FPGA, Nvidia Jetson, and Software Defined Radios.Skilled with Modeling and Simulation of RF systems including Radar and SARFamiliar with deep learning algorithms. Experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch is a plus.Familiar with wireless communication standards (Bluetooth, 3G/4G/5G, Wi-Fi, SINCGARS, MUOS, etc.).Excellent at balancing multiple projects at any given time and/or managing a larger team for a larger program.Enthusiastic about both working with a team and executing some work individually (depending on program scope).Experience with Electronic Warfare systems.Some travel required.Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSMasters or PhD degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related fieldsDefense, national security, or aerospace domain familiarity through industry or education.Extensive Digital Signal Processing (DSP) knowledge and experienceExpertise in Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and/or Inverse SAR (ISAR): Image formation, waveforms, phenomenology, modeling and simulationUS Salary Range$191,000—$253,000 USDThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
