Shipping And Receiving Clerk

We're hiring a shipping and receiving clerk in Eden Prairie to oversee inventory, keep track of shipments, and check the items in inventory for damages or discrepancies. Location: Eden Prairie, MN Wage: $20 - $25/hr. Hours: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday

Duties of the shipping and receiving clerk:
- Account for the location of incoming goods
- Assure no damaged items are sent or received
- Compare packing lists to company purchase orders and ensure that the products in each delivery match the packing list
- Collaborate with the marketing department to develop a schedule for assembling and displaying manufacturer marketing pieces on the sales floor
- Update the product inventory as products are received and added to the inventory
- Package products for return to vendors and fill out any paperwork necessary
Requirements of the shipping and receiving clerk:
- Math skills
- Able to maintain accurate records
- Experience operating heavy machinery
- Lift 50 lbs. or more
- Good communication, organizational skills, and detail-oriented
- Pass a pre-employment background and drug screen
