We focus on providing customers with cutting-edge machine tending automation solutions including robotics, gantry, pallet pool, and various flexible manufacturing systems for the North American market.We are looking for a candidate who is open-minded, eager to learn, willing to take on various challenges and comfortable working in a dynamic and diverse team environment.Essential Job Functions:Machine tending automation system cell controller designCNC machine tool, robot, washer, gage/CMM, marker, etc automation equipment interfacingElectrical wiring, troubleshooting and various automation peripherals setupProgram PLC/HMI (Allen-Bradley preferred), robot (Fanuc) and vision (iRvision or Cognex)Perform automation cell runoff at factory and customer sitePrepare detailed design specifications and documentationCustomer training and technical supportOther duties assigned as necessaryMinimum Requirements:Bachelor or equivalent degree in EE/ME/CS EngineeringFamiliar with manufacturing automation/industrial robotic systemStrong electrical design, wiring and troubleshooting capabilitiesProficient in PLC/HMI/Robot/Vision programmingProficient in mechanical assembly and electrical troubleshootingFamiliar with major industrial protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Profinet, etc.)Familiar with safety circuit and safety relay/controller configurationAbility to learn various new automation technologyStrong communication skills including reading & writing technical documentsWork Environment:General office environment will be experienced.
