The Program Director, in collaboration with the Director of Operations, is responsible for the overall management and day-to-day operations of the program, including administrative and programmatic oversight. The Program Director ensures the safety and well-being of staff and clients, maintains compliance with all DHS, DOB, DOH. applicable regulations and contractual requirements and work closely with the on-site Building Manager to ensure efficient facility and program operations.
This program serves families with children; therefore, the Program Director must have a strong understanding of family services, child and family needs, and trauma-informed service delivery.
The Program Director will lead and support a multidisciplinary team in providing a comprehensive range of services, including case management, housing assistance, medical and behavioral health referrals, psychiatric services, recreational programming, benefits advocacy, and other supportive services designed to promote family stability and self-sufficiency.
A significant focus of this position is housing placement and permanency. The Program Director coordinate with the Director of Social Services to ensure that staff actively assist families in identifying and securing appropriate permanent housing, addressing barriers to placement, and connecting clients with community-based resources and ongoing supportive services.
