RN Cardiac Critical CareJob Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Critical Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2-3 years License: Registered Nurse License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Must have 2 years of critical care background including ventilator management with respiratory therapy support. Experience with titratable vasoactive drips is required. Description: The position is located in a cardiac critical care unit with 16 beds. The patient-to-nurse ratios are 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 depending on acuity levels. Equipment used in the unit includes ventilators, Arctic Sun devices, temporary pacemakers, and Swan-Ganz catheters. The electronic medical record system used is Epic. Candidates will be working with a diverse range of patients including those post-cardiac catheterization and individuals with STEMIs and NSTEMIs. Flexibility to float with low census is expected. Candidates are required to comply with the dress code of navy scrubs.
