Job Summary:

National tire recycler has an immediate opening. We are seeking an experienced bilingual transportation professional who is ready for a hands-on role overseeing daily dispatch and transportation operations, supporting and directing drivers, solving routing and service issues, and helping keep the operation running safely and efficiently. 

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-430pm with some flexibility

Requirements:

• Coordinate daily routes, dispatching and driver assignments
• Communicate with drivers throughout the day and help resolve service and routing issues
• Adjust routes and schedules when call-outs, delays or other operational issues occur
• Monitor driver performance, attendance and service levels
• Provide coaching and direction to drivers
• Help maintain compliance with company safety policies and DOT requirements
• Assist with reporting, documentation and follow-up
• Develop toward increased responsibility for the overall transportation operation
• Fluent in Spanish and English communication skills required
• Experience in transportation, dispatching, routing, logistics
• Knowledge of local and regional geography
• Strong organization and problem solving skills
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with drivers
• Knowledge of DOT regulations a plus
• Experience with Samsara a plus
