Medical Assistant – Contract

Location: Kearney, NE
Contract: 7 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift
Pay Rate: $20–$24/Hour

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support both front and back-office clinical operations and provide quality patient care.

Responsibilities

Greet and room patients, take vitals, and assist with patient flow.
Perform phlebotomy/venipuncture, EKGs, vaccinations, and point-of-care testing.
Schedule appointments and answer phones.
Maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems.
Provide clinical and administrative support as needed.
Work collaboratively with patients and healthcare staff.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience (excluding externship).
Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred.
Occupational Health experience preferred.
Phlebotomy/venipuncture and EMR experience required.
Front and back-office experience.
BLS or CPR certification required.
Strong communication, computer, and organizational skills.
