Registered Nurse - Emergency Department Night Shift

Schedule

This is a night shift position working 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). The schedule includes every other weekend and holidays as needed.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include managing patient assessments, administering medications, and performing emergency interventions as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and management of patients in a combined adult and pediatric emergency department.
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias and management of dysrhythmias.
• Phlebotomy and starting IVs.
• Triage and prioritizing patient care based on urgency.
• Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Current RN license required.
• BLS, ACLS, NIH, and PALS certifications are mandatory.
• Charge RN experience is preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is required.
