Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.****Job Purpose and Impact****The Salt Customer Service Specialist displays a strong customer-centric mindset and independently manages strategic or advanced customer accounts. This role optimizes moderately complex to complex order and issue management, proactively identifies risk, and partners cross-functionally to deliver a reliable and differentiated customer experience.****Key Accountabilities***** Independently manage end-to-end order processing for assigned customer accounts using order management tools* Resolve moderately complex to complex order and issue management cases with limited supervision* Proactively identify and mitigate order management risks through continuous improvement* Communicate anticipated delays, constraints, or changes and provide timely alternatives to customers* Partner with Commercial, Supply Chain, and other functions to resolve order exceptions and risks* Serve as a customer subject-matter expert (SME) for assigned accounts* Conduct root-cause analysis and support process improvements* Coach or mentor less-experienced CSRs as needed* Escalate only the most complex issues appropriately while owning resolution* Engage with customers and handle escalations for unclear order issues, resolving problems and identifying risks early* Other duties as assigned #LI-JG3 #LI-Hybrid****Qualifications******Minimum Qualifications*** Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience* Minimum of two years of customer service or order management experience* Experience navigating complex systems and tools with ease* Experience in Customer service order and case management process and tools**Prefered Qualifications*** Experience in B2B customer-facing roles* Supply chain experience* SAP and Salesforce experience* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, dashboards, complex formulas, VBA/macros, and reporting automation* Experience developing automated solutions using VBS scripting, Python scripting, or similar tools to support SAP TC2 processes, data analysis, and operational efficiencies.****Position Details***** Location: Wichita, KS* Posted: Internal and External* Relocation assistance is not provided for this role* Schedule: M-F 8am - 4:30pmEqual Opportunity Employer, including Disability/VetAt Cargill, we care about your safety and want your job search experience to be a positive one.
