Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize your educational background, training, and clinical experience to independently develop psychosocial assessments and diagnoses tailored to the unique situations of each patient.

• Work in close coordination with a multidisciplinary team, including other social workers, psychologists, primary care providers, and specialists, to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.

• Regularly monitor and document patient progress using both qualitative and quantitative measures, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on outcome tracking.

• Support medication management, focusing on treatment adherence, side effect monitoring, and effective communication regarding the necessity and effectiveness of prescribed psychotropic medications.

As a LICSW at Alameda Health Care, you will primarily work with patients in the hospice care system, addressing the emotional and psychological needs of individuals facing life-limiting diagnoses. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• A current, valid, and unrestricted license to practice independently in mental health as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the State of Washington.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience working as an independently licensed therapist, demonstrating a strong foundation in psychosocial assessment and treatment.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, candidates with a background in hospice or palliative care, as well as experience with diverse populations, will be viewed favorably. Evidence of ongoing professional development through continuing education or specialized training in areas such as geriatric care, grief counseling, or family systems will also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 based on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, employees are eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
