About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Sales and Operations to drive commercial growth in wholesale distribution. The role focuses on sourcing excess inventory opportunities, developing brand partnerships, and originating, negotiating, and closing high-value B2B transactions. The successful candidate will lead and develop the sales team while remaining personally involved in revenue generation, and will establish scalable sales processes and accountability. Working closely with senior leadership, the VP will shape sales strategy, pursue expansion opportunities, and represent the business in industry and partner meetings. Candidates should bring approximately eight or more years of relevant B2B sales or commercial leadership experience, ideally in off-price retail, consumer goods, wholesale, closeouts, excess inventory, or liquidation. Established relationships with consumer brands and a strong understanding of off-price retail purchasing channels are important. Applicants should demonstrate success generating revenue, opening accounts, negotiating agreements, and closing significant transactions, along with experience coaching sales professionals. Strong commercial judgment, executive presence, an entrepreneurial approach, and familiarity with modern sales technology and AI tools are also required.
