Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Department in Goldsboro, North Carolina. The position involves providing competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards in a hospital setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This role demands collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective care to patients in the L&D area, with a focus on patient assessment, care planning, and education.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of Nursing; Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC); ACLS (AHA or ARC); NRP; Minimum of 0 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year of nursing experience preferred; Experience circulating for C-sections and triaging for OB highly preferred; Will review block schedule requests
• Preferred Qualifications: 5 years Labor and Delivery (L&D) experience highly preferred
• Additional Information: Knowledge of Epic electronic medical record system required; Strong emphasis on patient assessment, care planning, patient education, and coordination within the OB setting
• Certifications: PATIENT ASSESSMENT, CARE PLANNING, NURSING, PATIENT CARE COORDINATION, PATIENT EDUCATION
• Education: Nursing Diploma or ADN/ASN from an accredited school of Nursing; BSN or MSN preferred
