- - -The Gogo Sr. Regional Sales Manager-New York/New Jersey is responsible for executing sales & marketing strategies, plans and programs aimed at key business aviation prospects and converting them to customers and users/ subscribers.The Senior Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for developing new business (sales) and expanding on existing service/ business aviation relationships. This position will be responsible for a territory that presently includes U.S. States in New England and the eastern region of Canada.Do you love business aviation? Then, please read on andCOME ON BOARD THE GOGO BUSINESS AVIATION SALES TEAM!How will you make a difference?Support the development and execution of sales and marketing strategies for the introduction and promotion of Gogo’s inflight internet products and servicesDevelop programs, promos, and a formal pipeline in support of the region to gain one or more of the following: service uptake, increased usage of services and more frequent or multiple Gogo equipment purchasesProvide key support for airport event activities with on-site presence when required; tactics, administrative and logistics development, provide direction to event teams and event management companiesBe an active influence within the local aviation community via presentations, speaking engagements, training sessions, etc.Engage with the OEM and Dealer support team – Develop and grow Gogo’s aircraft OEM’s and dealers in region to facilitate the growth of Gogo products and servicesPartner with various internal groups (e.g. Aircraft Applications engineers, pricing, product, marketing) when developing and executing marketing communications elementsRecommend product feature improvements and upgrades to product development and engineering teamAssist other Regional Sales Managers in reach company sales goalsDeliver professional sales service to new and existing customersAttend industry and OEM trade shows and regional eventsCollaborate with Manger to analyze program/campaign performance data and present findings and recommendations to team aimed at increasing effectiveness and efficiency of marketing initiativeQualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Marketing , Aviation or related field or equivalent work experience7-12 years of relevant experience , including a minimum of 5-7 years of B2C or B2B sales experience5-7 years of business aviation market experience2-5 years’ experience supporting the selling of Satcom equipment or airtime in consumer marketplaceAbility to travel up to 50%Must be located in the New York or New Jersey region of the U.S.Required Skills, Experience and TalentsExcellent written and verbal communication and presentation skillsAnalyze situations, identify problems, recommend solutions, and evaluate outcomeMake effective decisionsRepresent Gogo effectively and professionally to the publicMeet tight time constraints and deadlinesHandle highly confidential informationDetermine strategy to help achieve department goalsPreferred Skills, Experience and TalentsWork harmoniously with others at all levelsAbility to prioritize under stressful situationsCan-do attitude and collaborative work style; flexibilityEqual Pay Disclosure(s)Base Pay :128,000.00 - 160,000.00 USD AnnualTarget Annual Short-Term Incentive :Commission PlanEligible for Incentive Stock Program :YesBenefits :Gogo offers competitive benefits including medical, dental and vision coverage with plans that can fit each employee’s needs.
