7 PM to 7 AM

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in this role will provide patient care in a Med Surg Telemetry unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services. The nurse will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients.
• Monitor patient telemetry and vital signs in accordance with established protocols.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and families on health issues and care plans.
• Assist with procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, and more.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN licensure.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Telemetry and Med Surg experience required.
• Cardiac recognition and IV starts preferred.
