Salary: $142,651.46 - 190,201.94 per year Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience using statistical programming languages such as Python or R.
• At least 3 years of experience working with large datasets and tools such as BigQuery.
• At least 3 years of experience operating databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MongoDB.
• Knowledge and experience developing machine learning techniques, including clustering, decision trees, and artificial neural networks, with an understanding of their practical advantages and limitations.
• Knowledge and experience applying advanced statistical concepts and methods, including regression, distribution properties, and statistical testing.
• Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in product development, and the ability to lead the design and implementation of solutions to new features or challenges.
• Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills for cross-team coordination.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision, deliver high-quality work, and learn new technologies and techniques quickly.
• Preferred experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure; data processing frameworks such as Spark; Linux-based operating systems; scalable, highly available applications; or recommendation services.
• Able to work nights and weekends and follow variable schedules as needed.

• Analyze large datasets with the data team to identify user behavior features and define quantitative model-performance metrics.
• Engineer feature sets and training data schemas for recommendation algorithms, and conduct offline evaluations and online A/B tests against benchmarks.
• Translate business needs from product and operations teams into algorithmic solutions; document model architecture and logic.
• Prototype recommendation concepts, validate approaches, and turn successful experiments into production-ready code.
• Build, tune, and scale recommendation models and multi-algorithm A/B testing logic.
• Work with backend and client engineering teams to integrate models, prioritize improvements, and optimize model serving and latency.
• Document algorithm behavior, model dependencies, and integration specifications for other systems.
• Select models, optimize hyperparameters, and engineer features to address business needs and improve personalized content delivery.
• Develop and enhance machine learning algorithms for products and applications, using specifications and data-pipeline architectures.
• Lead model training, validation, and production deployment; create and maintain pipelines for data ingestion, validation, cleaning, and monitoring.
• Prepare technical documentation and requirements, including evaluation plans, white papers, and reports.
• Contribute to patents, APIs, and other intellectual property.
• Evaluate machine learning solutions from internal and external partners, lead testing and assessments, and conduct case studies to inform product development and testing.
• Design proofs of concept and direct studies supporting future products and applications.
• Collaborate across teams to resolve complex project issues and mentor junior engineers.
• Exercise independent judgment, attend work consistently and punctually, and undertake other assigned duties.
