This is an outstanding opportunity to practice in a supportive, patient-centered environment while caring for approximately 10,000 pediatric patients annually. Physicians work within a dedicated pediatrics hybrid unit featuring pediatric emergency and acute-care capabilities, allowing clinicians to deliver comprehensive care while collaborating with an experienced multidisciplinary team. Opportunity Highlights Board-certified or board-eligible pediatricians (ABP/AOBP) with PEM experience preferred Current openings for part-time and PRN positions Independent contractor (1099) status Epic EMR ACLS and PALS certifications required Active New Jersey medical license required Dedicated peds hybrid unit with 7 pediatric emergency department beds 4 acute-care pediatric beds Approximately 10,000 pediatric patient visits annually 6% admission rate 24 hours of pediatric emergency medicine physician coverage daily Flexible 12-hour shifts: 8am to 8pm or 8pm to 8am Competitive compensation with an estimated base salary range of $185 to $210 hourly.
