Security Assistant Type: Full TimeLocation: Ballston, Virgina Overtime Exempt: NoReports To: ARMADA HQSecurity Clearance Required: TS/SCI***************CONTINGENT UPON AWARD*************************Duties & Responsibilities:Maintain 100% accountability for all SCI material, preparing it for correspondence and approved transmission via the Defense Courier Service (DEFCOS). Process SCI-level visit requests using the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and the JWICS network.Manage physical access to TS/SCI spaces and coordinate all TS/SCI level meetings and video teleconferences (VTCs).Review Standard Form 86 (SF 86) submissions for completeness and accuracy prior to official submission.Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):Ability to provide clear, concise, and accurate written and verbal communication. Skill in satisfactorily dealing with customers. Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment. Knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.Minimum/General Experience:At least two (2) years of experience working in an administrative support role within a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) environment. Experience must include:Preparing classified correspondence.Exercising accountability for all SCI material at the facility.Processing visit requests for SCI level meetings using the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and the Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communication System (JWICS) network.Preparing and arranging TS/SCI level meetings and video teleconferences.Reviewing submissions of Standard Form 86, Questionnaire for National Security Positions.Minimum Education:High school diploma or GED required.
