We've only begun to scratch the surface of Starlink's potential global impact and are looking for best-in-class CNC Machinists to help maximize Starlink's utility for communities and businesses around the globe.RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for setting up, operating multi-axis CNC machines (mills and lathes) up to and including 5 Axis mills and 6 axis lathesResponsible for all types of drilling, tapping and milling and turningCompleting machining operations from blueprints, drawings and/or verbal instructionsResponsible for machining complex, tight tolerances parts and various materialsMaterial prep, deburring parts, hauling chips, oiling machines, sweeping up and initiating or assisting in organizational tasksBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalency certificate3+ years of experience in the setup and operation of CNC machinesG-code experiencePREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Experience with GD&T or interpreting blueprints/manufacturing drawingsShort run, prototype, non-production machining experienceHorizontal Mill experienceExperience running lathes + live toolingADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be available for 10 hour shifts. Estimated shift time: 2nd shift (4:00PM to 2:30AM)Able to lift a minimum of 40lbs. unassistedAble to stand for extended periods- 8 hours minMust be able to stoop, bend, crawl, and being able to maneuver in tight spacesRepetitive movement, bending or twisting, using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls, exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distractingCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Pay Range: Level 1: $23.00 - $29.00 Level 2: $28.00 - $34.50 Level 3: $33.00 - $40.00Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
