Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS, RN Must-Have: PCU or ICU experience Description: Unit Highlights: Please read carefully. Shift details: Guaranteed hours: 36. Patient ratios: 4:1. Number of beds: 18. Unit staffing description: Progressive Care. Type of equipment: To be discussed during the interview. Documentation system: Meditech. Scheduling requirements: Three 12-hour shifts. Floating policy: As needed. Special skills/experience required: 2 years preferred. Procedures performed on unit: To be discussed during the interview. Patient experience required: Hourly safety rounding, bedside shift report, sit to commit. Dress code: Scrub color: To be determined. Nail policy: Clean and healthy, no artificial nails or gel. Hair must be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Facial hair must be clean and neatly trimmed. Hair must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer. Tattoos and body art should be covered whenever possible. Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited. Other unit guidelines/policies apply. Attendance policies will be followed. This position requires a commitment to patient care and teamwork.
