X-Ray Technologist Location: Houston, TX Job Type: Contract Contract End Date: November 1, 2026 Pay Rate: $39.47 per hour Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 5 days per week Dress Code: Scrubs (any color) Interview Process: In-person preferred (phone interviews available for non-local candidates) Position Summary We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist to join a busy outpatient radiology team. The ideal candidate will have strong radiographic positioning skills, experience working in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to provide high-quality patient care while working independently and collaboratively. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations following physician orders and established protocols. Ensure proper patient positioning and image quality for accurate diagnostic results. Assist with fluoroscopy and orthopedic imaging procedures. Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process. Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records. Follow radiation safety standards and equipment operating procedures. Support workflow across designated outpatient imaging locations as needed. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and clinical staff to provide exceptional patient care. Required Qualifications ARRT (R) certification. Texas Medical Board Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) License. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Experience as an X-Ray Technologist in an outpatient or clinical setting. Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging workflow. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently in a high-volume environment. Preferred Qualifications Fluoroscopy experience. Orthopedic imaging experience. Flexibility to support multiple outpatient imaging locations within the Houston area.
