The reporting location for this position is the Budget Office located at 715 P Street, CA. This position will work under the supervision o f the Supervisor I.

The incumbent will be responsible for performing the less complex and technical budget work in the development, preparation, administration, maintenance, review, and control of the Department and Conservancies' budgets. The incumbent's primary duties include budget review and analysis for state operations, capital outlay, and local assistance budget activities. The incumbent should be familiar with utilizing tools/systems such as PeopleSoft, Hyperion, Excel (forecasting and analyzing data), the Microsoft Office suite as well as other systems used within the department. The incumbent may also be assigned workload and special projects in other areas as needed to support departmental operations.

Training and Development Assignments may be considered.

This position is designated as telework eligible-office centered.

Working Conditions


Employees must have the ability to sit for long periods of time using a keyboard and computer monitor. Employees will work in a sixteen-story climate-controlled office under artificial light.
