Account Manager / Specialty Account Manager - TAVNEOS - Bronx, NY

Responsibilities Develop comprehensive territory business plan to exceed annual sales goals. Promote TAVNEOS within approved labeling, fairly and ethically, consistent with industry-specific and corporate legal and regulatory guidelines. Address issues related to access, reimbursement, and pull‑through via coordination with stakeholders and matrix teams. Build strong customer relationships, understanding needs and goals, and communicate them to team. Consistently meet or exceed corporate sales goals. Communicate territory activity accurately and timely as directed by management. Drive product demand among targets through disease‑state and product education. Provide feedback to sales and business unit leadership, colleagues, and other departments about changing environment and results. Adhere to compliance policies and guidelines, including the PhRMA code. Work closely with patient services and market access teams to achieve business goals. Coordinate accounts and relevant field teams to support full range of needs. Educate healthcare professionals and office staff on site‑of‑care options. Attend medical congresses and society meetings as needed. Manage promotional and operational budget within assigned limits. Maximize use of approved resources to achieve territory and account goals. Complete all company training classes. Complete administrative duties accurately and timely. Function as a contributing member of a high‑performance team. Perform other tasks as requested by the company. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or hospital sales. Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience in the same industries. High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales experience. For Level 5 (Specialty Account Manager): Doctorate and 2 years of collective account management, sales, and commercial experience. Master’s degree and 6 years of collective account management, sales, and commercial experience. Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of collective account management, sales, and commercial experience. Associate degree and 10 years of collective account management, sales, and commercial experience. Preferred Qualifications Prior rare disease or oncology experience. Experience in rheumatology, nephrology, or other rare/specialty disease states. Experience with site‑of‑care and reimbursement. Experience working with institutions and integrated delivery networks. Pharma account management selling experience; ability to coordinate across field teams. Approximately 50% travel including overnight and weekend commitments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Professional, proactive demeanor. Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Salary & Benefits The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is $145,311–$196,597 for Account Manager – Level 4 and $158,931–$215,025 for Specialty Account Manager – Level 5.
