We are currently hiring for the position of Burner on first shift. Job Duties Must have the ability to operate an Overhead Crane Ability to read & understand / ability to learn; basic production drawings Review drawings, layout, tolerances and job packet to determine piece count, grade of material, thickness, length, width, blueprints and special instructions. Load/Unload plates and cut pieces using an Overhead Crane and/or Tow Motor to/from burning table. Operate burning machine and perform first article inspection measurement/process on jobs Execute daily burning workload provided by Supervisor and schedules while meeting or surpassing daily metrics daily and weekly production metrics Mark, tag and skid parts per job instructions provided by Engineering Assist in maintaining an inventory accuracy and traceability through means, but not limited to; Plate inventory tag, REM size verification, proper color coding Proper disposal of scrap by proper execution of guidelines provided. Dispose of scrap into properly marked scrap containers 3.10 Operator is required to mark the grain direction on parts that are burned.
