McNees Summer Law Clerks receive real‑world legal experience and meaningful exposure to a variety of assignments from their assigned practice group. Summer Law Clerks are also invited to firm events and networking opportunities and are provided mentorship from current McNees attorneys. Responsibilities: Conduct legal research and analysis on a wide range of legal topics Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents Assist attorneys on various projects and assignments – both billable and non‑billable Observe client meetings, hearings, and other legal proceedings as appropriate Maintain organized files and documentation related to assigned projects Perform administrative tasks and other duties as assigned Requirements: Second year law student pursuing a J.D. at an accredited law school Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Excellent research, writing, and communication skills Self‑motivated, driven, and detail‑oriented Compensation & Benefits Our total rewards package includes competitive pay, comprehensive health coverage, and bonus opportunities (based on firm and individual performance) for our full‑time benefit‑eligible positions.
