Analyst - Investment Operations

Analyst – Investment Operations (San Diego or Charlotte) Global private markets investment platform providing customized investment and advisory solutions to many of the world's most sophisticated institutional investors. With approximately $150+ billion in assets under management and more than $500+ billion in total capital allocations, the firm invests across a broad range of private market strategies and delivers innovative investment solutions on a global scale. Our client is seeking a self‑motivated and highly organized professional to join its Investment Operations team supporting Venture Capital transaction execution. This is a hands‑on, entrepreneurial opportunity within a collaborative team operating in a fast‑paced environment with evolving processes. The successful candidate will manage multiple concurrent transactions and workstreams, adapt to shifting deal timelines, and partner with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution throughout the investment lifecycle. Responsibilities Prepare client allocations across the platform for each venture capital investment transaction. Support transaction funding logistics, including capital calls and tracking recallable and recycled capital. Assist with complex operational matters, including foreign exchange (FX), deal syndications, and bridge financing. Monitor each transaction from initiation through closing using Power BI reporting and internal controls. Coordinate closely with Investment, Legal, Tax, Accounting, and Treasury teams to keep transactions on schedule. Maintain current deal process updates and communicate key milestones to appropriate stakeholders. Manage the flow of information into and out of the deal team to support efficient transaction execution. Qualifications 1–4 years of relevant experience in investment operations, middle office, fund administration, fund accounting, or another investment fund‑related role preferred. Experience supporting venture capital, private markets, or fund‑of‑funds is a plus. Familiarity with LP interest secondaries and co‑investments is strongly preferred but not required. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in a high‑volume environment. Ability to manage multiple priorities while consistently meeting deadlines. Self‑starter who takes ownership of responsibilities and demonstrates initiative. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Good technology skills, including proficiency with Excel and reporting tools. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client service skills.
