Position Summary The Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) provides specialized nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. This role involves pre-procedure assessment, intra-procedure support, and post-procedure recovery care. The RN collaborates with physicians, anesthesia providers, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced procedural setting. Main Responsibilities * Conduct pre-procedure assessments and patient education. * Administer medications and moderate sedation per protocol. * Monitor patient condition throughout procedures, responding promptly to changes. * Provide recovery and discharge teaching to patients and families. * Collaborate with physicians and team members to optimize workflow and patient safety. * Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR. * Ensure compliance with infection prevention, safety standards, and hospital policies.
