Start Date: 10/05/2026

End Date: 01/02/2027

Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7p-7a)

Hours/Week: Full-time

Employment Type: Contract

License/Certs: LA State Licensure, BLS, NRP required; ACLS and PALS preferred

Experience: Minimum 2+ years, high risk delivery and NICU/PICU experience preferred

Pay & Benefits

Hourly Pay Rate: $70.35

What You'll Do

  • Provide advanced respiratory care support across all campuses, including high-risk deliveries, NICU, PICU, ICU, ED, and Med/Tele units
  • Manage airway and ventilator support, including intubation of neonates if necessary
  • Perform ABG analysis, non-invasive ventilation, and inhaled medication administration (including nitric oxide)
  • Support high-risk deliveries and neonatal resuscitation efforts
  • Operate advanced respiratory equipment such as Servo U, Trilogy, V60, Vapotherm devices, and NICU oscillators
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Support float coverage across multiple campuses with a flexible approach

What You Need

Required:
  • LA State Licensure
  • BLS and NRP certifications
  • Minimum 2 years of RT experience in acute care settings
  • Comfort with high-risk deliveries, NICU/PICU support, and neonate intubation
  • Strong airway management and ventilator skills
  • Ability to float across multiple campuses within driving distance
Preferred:
  • ACLS and PALS certifications
  • Experience with Neonatal and Pediatric Critical Care equipment
  • CRT certification accepted with additional relevant experience
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills

About the Assignment Join a dedicated respiratory care team supporting multiple campuses, including ED, ICU, Stepdown, NICU, PICU, and Med/Tele units within a leading healthcare facility. You will be integral in providing specialized respiratory therapies and ensuring the highest standards of patient care across diverse clinical settings.
