SRE Technical Lead / Architect

Exp: 10+ years in software or systems engineering, with a proven track record of leading SRE transformations at scale

As the SRE Technical Lead/Architect, you will lead the strategic evolution of our platform from reactive operations to a proactive, engineering driven reliability model. You will architect the reliability framework for our global digital ecosystem where real time visibility and partner integration are critical ensuring the platform is resilient, scalable, and secure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design the technical blueprint for end to end platform reliability, ensuring seamless coordination between multiple 3PLs, carriers, and vendors.
• Define and implement data driven performance targets (SLIs and SLOs) that align with logistics business outcomes, using Error Budgets to balance the pace of feature releases with system stability.
• Drive a culture of Toil Reduction, allocating significant engineering time to developing automated solutions for manual operational tasks like provisioning, deployment, and scaling.
• Architect an advanced observability stack to provide deep, real time insights into system health and complex partner integrations.
• Lead the response to high priority incidents and foster a culture that prioritizes systemic root cause analysis and long term remediation over individual fault.
• Perform predictive analysis and load testing to ensure peal seasons are handled without performance degradation.
• Implement practices like Chaos Engineering to simulate failures and proactively identify weaknesses in the distributed logistics network.

Skills Qualifications:

• Extensive experience (10+ years) in software or systems engineering, with a proven track record of leading SRE or platform engineering transformations at scale.
• High proficiency in modern programming languages (Go, Python, or Java) to build automation tools and self healing infrastructure.
• Deep expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes) and managing multi cloud or hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Mastery of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi to ensure repeatable and consistent environments.
• Experience with high availability integrations for supply chain technologies (e.g., TMS, WMS, or Control Towers) is highly preferred.
