Accounting Clerk - Contract to Hire in Grand Rapids, MI
Summary - Will provide administrative and clerical support to the accounting department.
What You Will Do:
- Processing customer invoices accurately and timely
- Entering Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable data
- Assisting with filing, document management, and other clerical accounting tasks
- Setting up new customers and suppliers in our ERP system
- Sending credit reference requests for new customer accounts
- Assisting with weekly check runs
- Supporting month-end close activities
- Helping the accounting team with additional projects and responsibilities as needed
Skills Needed:
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working with data and entering information accurately
- Dependable and able to manage multiple priorities
- A team player with a positive attitude
- Comfortable working in an office environment and using computer systems throughout the day
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous data entry experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Previous office experience with AP, and AR
- ERP experience
