Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Distribution Center in ANAHEIM, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and documenting security-related activity. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with team members and visitors, and help deter incidents through a visible presence. Position Type: Full Time / Mix Shift Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur04:00 PM - 12:00 AMFri04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSat12:00 PM - 08:00 PMSun12:00 PM - 08:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Monitor access points at a logistics and distribution location; verify credentials, authorize entry in accordance with site procedures, and maintain visitor and driver access records. Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, including entrances, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity. Report irregular conditions, policy violations, and damaged access-control equipment according to site-specific reporting procedures. Minimum Requirements: Access control and badge experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
