Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting with patient ratios of 1:4–6
• Deliver care within a Primary Stroke Center and support STEMI patient management protocols
• Provide nursing care in locked Behavioral Health units within the ED, maintaining a ratio of 1:6 with security team support
• Work within rapid evaluation units supporting urgent care and critical care needs, including rapid medical screenings
• Float within the hospital as needed, remaining within scope of practice

Required Qualifications

• Valid Maryland or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience, plus at least 1 prior travel assignment
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Must be able to float within the hospital within scope of practice
• References required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Primary Stroke Center or STEMI-capable facility
• Prior experience providing care in a Behavioral Health Emergency Department setting
