Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide school-based services in Miami, Florida for the 20262027 school year.
This part-time opportunity is ideal for an SLP seeking a flexible schedule while making a meaningful impact on students' communication skills and academic success. Working just 12 hours per week across 2 days , you'll collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students with a variety of speech and language needs.
Whether you're looking to supplement your current caseload or prefer a part-time school-based role, this position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work in a collaborative educational environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students with communication disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student IEP goals.
Provide direct speech-language therapy services in individual and small-group settings.
Address articulation, expressive and receptive language, fluency, voice, social communication, and other speech-language needs.
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and service logs.
Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers to support student success.
Utilize evidence-based intervention strategies to improve communication skills and educational outcomes.
Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal special education regulations.
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program required.
Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (Clinical Fellows may be considered depending on district needs).
Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
Ability to effectively manage a part-time caseload.
School-based setting serving students with diverse communication needs.
Part-time schedule of 12 hours per week over 2 days.
Collaborative multidisciplinary team including educators, school psychologists, occupational therapists, administrators, and related service providers.
Flexible schedule that is ideal for clinicians seeking additional hours or supplemental employment.
