Job Description

A healthcare facility in Hampton, VA is seeking a licensed Pharmacist for an 8+ week contract assignment starting August 10th. This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, providing consistent daytime hours in a retail and long-term care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately distribute medications prescribed by physicians and other authorized healthcare practitioners
Provide clear, informative guidance to customers regarding medication usage, side effects, and safety
Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance patient experience and ensure adherence to prescriptions

Qualifications:

Current Virginia Pharmacist License is required
Experience in retail pharmacy and/or long-term care pharmacy settings is strongly preferred
Strong communication and customer service skills are essential for success in this role
