Job Title: Test Technician

Job Description

An opportunity exists for a Test Engineering Technician Level II in Littleton, CO. The team is dedicated to using engineering talents to design and deploy cutting-edge solutions in Power Distribution, Embedded Monitoring and Control, Power Conversion, lighting, and Camera-based solutions, revolutionizing spaceflight.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental testing of aerospace mechanisms using established procedures. Tests include static load, thermal vacuum, benchtop operation, separation, shock, and vibration.
• Operate spaceflight hardware and test fixtures using data acquisition systems and established procedures.
• Attach and remove components on spaceflight hardware.
• Inspect mechanical and electrical components after test completion.
• Perform maintenance on test fixtures.
• Generate ideas for potential process improvements.
• Assist with non-conformance investigations.

Essential Skills

• Experience in electronics, electrical assembly, and testing equipment.
• Proficiency in using oscilloscopes, calibration tools, and schematic blueprints.
• Familiarity with circuit boards and testing equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 4 or more years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with common aerospace assembly and inspection tools such as torque wrenches, load cells, feeler gauges, calipers, and multimeters.
• Experience in writing technical work instructions related to Environmental Testing.
• Understanding and experience with quality management systems such as AS9100.
• Excellent manual dexterity and ability to handle small parts.
• Experience using electronics equipment such as DMMs, power supplies, and DAQs.
• Strong technical capability and mechanical inclination with the ability to follow and execute procedures.
• Experience in an Aerospace cleanroom environment is preferred.
• Understanding of advanced electronic circuitry.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as autonomously.
• Ability to provide intuitive and timely solutions for immediate prototype production.
• Effective communication abilities and self-motivation.
• High standard of quality workmanship.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Capacity to comply with federally mandated requirements of U.S. export control laws.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and teamwork skills.

Work Environment

The position is onsite at the Littleton facility, where you will be involved in hands-on testing and development with state-of-the-art aerospace technology.

This is a Contract position based out of Littleton, CO.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $40.00/hr.
