Responsibilities include providing hands‑on patient care—assessments, vitals, and education—coordinating clinic activities for seamless care, supporting scheduling and order entry, triaging patient and caregiver phone calls with protocols and critical thinking to provide timely support. An active license in the state of practice is required upon hire. LPN Salary: $22.50 – $31.50 RN Salary: $27.75 – $41.25 A Brief Overview Responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients and families. Communicates with physicians and other healthcare team members to deliver excellent patient care. What You Will Do Perform general nursing care for patients, administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards, and coordinate patient care activities for the clinic. Prepare equipment and assist provider during procedures, treatments, examinations, and testing of patients. Observe, record, and report patient’s condition and reactions to drugs and treatments to provider. Oversee appointment scheduling and ensure preferences for patients in emergency situations; maintain timely flow of patients. Greet patients and prepare them for physical examination. Screen patients for appropriate information, including obtaining the health history, taking vitals, and conducting a nursing assessment. Document information in patient chart. Instruct patient in collection of samples and tests. Respond to patient phone calls in a timely manner with appropriate input from the physician. Educate patients and families about diagnostic process, medications, nutrition, and maintenance of health and wellness. Suggest solutions to patient care crisis problems and complaints. Maintain exam rooms with necessary supplies and materials; ensure cleanliness and prepare a list of medical supplies needed. Ensure appropriate labeling of pathology specimens according to lab protocol as needed. Perform quality control and maintain records on all lab testing.
