The Crew Leader - Driver/Mover plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of customer belongings. This role involves operating box trucks, leading a team of movers, and maintaining high standards of customer service and safety throughout the moving process. The Crew Leader is responsible for supervising the loading and unloading of items while ensuring secure transport and timely completion of each job.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks (16–26 ft) to transport customer belongings
• Load and unload furniture, appliances, and household items with care
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, including fluids, tires, and lights
• Navigate routes efficiently using GPS or maps
• Maintain accurate mileage logs and trip documentation
• Communicate professionally with customers on-site
• Supervise and lead a crew of movers during the job
• Secure loads properly using moving pads, straps, and other equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years in moving and driving operations
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Team leadership experience
• Strong customer service skills
• Knowledge of load securing techniques
• Effective time management abilities
• Clear and professional communication skills
