Surgical Technologist - PRN

As a Surgical Technologist in our ASC facility, you will assist the surgeon and nursing staff in providing professional care to patients undergoing ophthalmic surgical procedures. Required Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification Preferred 1–2 years of experience in an OR or Ambulatory Surgery Center BLS certification Skills That Set You Apart Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation and procedures Ability to anticipate needs and stay steps ahead during cases Excellent communication and teamwork skills High level of professionalism and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize effectively Work Environment & Physical Requirements Fast‑paced clinical environment with occasional extended hours Prolonged standing and frequent movement throughout the day Ability to lift and move equipment (up to ~50 lbs) Exposure to typical surgical/clinical conditions PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT (per ADA Guidelines) Physical Activity: Standing for sustained periods of time, Stooping, Grasping, Lifting, Talking, Hearing. Physical requirements: Light work. Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs on a regular basis from floor to waist, 5 lbs from waist to shoulder, and 5 lbs from shoulder to overhead. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform each activity.
