The technologist will perform high-quality mammographic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing breast disease and related conditions. This role requires strong technical expertise, patient care skills, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards./ppKey Responsibilities/pulliPerform screening and diagnostic mammography exams using digital mammography equipment./liliPrepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and accurate imaging./liliApply radiation safety measures and comply with MQSA and ACR guidelines./liliEvaluate images for technical quality and ensure proper documentation in PACS/EMR systems./liliAssist radiologists with specialized procedures such as stereotactic biopsies and needle localizations./liliMaintain and troubleshoot mammography equipment; perform daily quality control checks./liliEducate patients about the procedure and address questions or concerns./liliMaintain accurate patient records and comply with HIPAA regulations./liliStay current with advancements in mammography technology and participate in continuing education./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliGraduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program./liliARRT certification in Radiography and Mammography (R.T. (R)(M))./liliCurrent BLS certification./liliMinimum 1 year of mammography experience (outpatient experience preferred)./liliKnowledge of digital mammography systems, PACS, and quality control procedures./liliStrong communication and patient care skills./li/ul/div
