Groundman and Equipment Operator

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Support multiple tree crews by getting wood/chips off their job site.
Load, drive and empty dump trucks with manual (stick) transmission.
Operate skid-steer loader.
Support climbers.
Operate chippers.
Drive and dump chip trucks.
Operate a chainsaw.
Load logs into trucks.
Drive trucks to dump wood.
Maintain all equipment (truck, saws, chippers, blowers, etc.).
Will sometimes have to drag brush - no one here is too good to do this job.

Qualifications:

Must have good driving record and be approved by our insurance company.
Must be able to drive a truck with a manual transmission.
Must pass drug screen.
