In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and support residents, tenants, and visitors with strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $16.98 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting information to property management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential and commercial property areas, including lobbies, hallways, parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter locations, with working conditions that may vary by site.
• Monitor access points, observe on-site activity, and report unusual conditions to help support property rules, controlled entry, and a professional environment.
• Assist with incident reporting, visitor interactions, and/or routine communications related to security-related matters while following Allied Universal standards and site expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
