Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic education location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, support access control activities, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Tue 01:00 PM - 07:00 PM Wed 01:00 PM - 07:00 PM Thu 01:00 PM - 07:00 PM Fri 01:00 PM - 07:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or faculty by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout academic buildings, common areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and note unusual conditions. Monitor access points and help to manage entry and exit activity in accordance with location procedures, offering directions and assistance to visitors and campus community members. Support a professional atmosphere by reporting hazards, policy concerns, and/or maintenance issues observed during patrols and routine activities. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Must be at least 21 years of age. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
