This is a great opportunity to develop your career within a Global TIC business.Salary: $25- $30/hr DOEResponsibilitiesInterpretation of internal and client requirementsSupervising allocated staff and being responsible for the day to day management of the relevant disciplineOperating complex mechanical testing equipmentMaintaining accurate and systematic recordsPerforming other duties to fulfil the demands of the laboratoryPerforming general duties in accordance with Element's internal procedures, quality as well as Health and Safety systemApplication of instrumentation and the setting up of complex data capture equipmentReport writing, data interpretation and analysisSkills / QualificationsWorking knowledge of laboratory safetyPerforms duties comparable to that of a Senior Technician, utilizing the added skills and knowledge that comes with earning anAssociate's or bachelor's degree in a testing-related fieldDesigns, sets-up and performs a variety of test according to customer specifications and requirementsRequires minimal supervision and technical input of a Principal Technician, Project Coordinator or Test EngineerPossess the ability to mentor and train technicians who have less experience through effective communication of technical dataAbility to transfer technical knowledge/requirements and successfully satisfy and meet customer specificationsPhysical Demands:Ability to work overtime and weekends on occasionFrequency of required physical force: Minimum (moderate)Lifting requirements: lifting <50 lbs. often and >50 lbs. on occasionAbility to stand on feet for long periods of timeCompany OverviewElement is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
