Registered Nurse - OB/GYN

$2570.40/week -

Job Summary:

Provides comprehensive nursing care to women and newborn patients in an OB/GYN setting, ensuring adherence to established standards of practice. Supervises nursing staff and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe and effective patient care.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patient conditions and collect relevant health data to inform care planning.
  
  
• 
  Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to OB/GYN patients.
  
  
• 
  Coordinate care delivery among healthcare team members, patients, and families.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families on health management, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient progress and evaluate outcomes to adjust care as needed.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including emergency procedures and certifications.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a current RN license in the practicing state.
  
  
• 
  Possess at least two years of recent nursing experience in a related clinical setting.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current BLS certification from an approved vendor.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system.
  
  
• 
  Have valid certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
  
  
• 
  Be able to work night shifts, with flexible availability for 36- or 48-hour schedules.
