About the Role The Field Service Technician is responsible for equipment maintenance and repair, and for documenting related repairs and services. The role also recommends changes in systems, programs, and equipment to improve reliability, increase capability, and/or reduce customer costs. The technician performs the following duties in the field with minimal supervision and coaching. Key Responsibilities Perform periodic scheduled and preventive maintenance on equipment as assigned by Dispatch Accurately troubleshoot chemical, mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment, PLC controllers, and power supplies; perform diagnostic analysis Provide sound technical assistance to all customers and distributors Provide on‑site technical training for customer personnel pertaining to use, operation, and maintenance Assist in the installation of new carwash equipment Perform repairs and correct malfunctions as necessary Modify or update equipment when required Maintain tools, test equipment, and materials in a professional manner Maintain all company‑owned and leased equipment in proper condition Operate a vehicle safely and courteously, obeying local laws and regulations Work with processes unique or peculiar to customer needs Participate in problem‑solving processes regarding customer complaints Interface with customers and related company personnel to ensure effective communication and dissemination of information required for superior customer service Keep abreast of new developments and innovations to improve departmental and company performance Accurately perceive information from others; assure appropriate flow of information and report matters clearly, concisely, and accurately Qualifications 3‑5 years of field experience Technical knowledge and ability to develop improved methods for fulfilling responsibilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must Ability to read and comprehend documents and follow simple instructions Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams Understanding of OLC controllers, low‑voltage control circuits, and three‑phase power What We Offer Hiring range: $24.00–30.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off, holidays, and flexible scheduling A culture that values innovation, collaboration, and professional growth Behaviors We Value Integrity: Operate with unwavering integrity and a commitment to ethical standards Accountability: Dependable under pressure, consistently meeting deadlines and delivering results Passion & Drive: High‑energy professionals focused on impactful execution with an enthusiastic, "can‑do" attitude Strong Work Ethic: Driven to make a real impact while balancing work‑life commitments in a fast‑paced environment Customer‑Focused: Put the customer first, shaping every task and decision with their needs in mind Supportive Team Player: Bring emotional intelligence and common sense to support colleagues and contribute to a positive culture Physical Requirements Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
