Travel Pediatric RRT - Night Shifts (36 hrs/wk)

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (Pediatric Respiratory Therapist – Peds‑RRT) for an immediate position in Washington, DC. The assignment is 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts, travel type. Key Information Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36 hours per week (12‑hour nights) Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in pediatric acute care settings, including evaluations and treatments per procedural guidelines. Administer a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment; assess equipment for proper function and report malfunctions. Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines. Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care. Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support. Physical Demands Stand and walk for long periods; lift up to 20 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds when necessary. Perform tasks requiring good vision (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception). Qualifications Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience. Certification: NBRC‑RRT, BLS, ACLS. Additional certifications: NRP, PALS (may be required in some areas). 2 years of experience may also be required.
