Assistant Property Manager

The Assistant Property Manager will support the day-to-day operations of a residential and commercial property portfolio, ensuring smooth building operations and tenant satisfaction. This role is heavily focused on accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, financial reporting, account reconciliation, and assisting with property budgeting. The individual will serve as a key point of contact for tenants, helping address daily requests and coordinating maintenance or operational needs. Strong Excel skills are required, as the position involves regular financial tracking and reporting. This is a Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM onsite opportunity with open parking and potential for permanent hire. Required Skills & Experience Previous Accounts Payable (AP) experience Experience processing invoices and managing day-to-day tenant-related requests Strong Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) reporting experience Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel 0-2+ years of property management, real estate, accounting, or related experience Experience with account reconciliation and financial reporting Knowledge of financial analysis, ledgers, and accounting principles Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Experience supporting budgets, expense tracking, and month-end closing activities Ability to communicate effectively with tenants, vendors, and internal stakeholders Nice to Have Skills & Experience Experience with Yardi property management software Experience with MRI property management software Property tax knowledge Experience managing residential and/or commercial properties Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Accounting, or a related field Experience with lease administration, rent collection, or vendor management Understanding of property maintenance coordination and building operations #J-18808-Ljbffr Insight Global
